Nationwide apathy and self-absorption has rendered the arts into a place of vanilla and mundane. This prompts us as artists to seek out and generate pieces that create a reaction. ANY reaction, whether it's a smile, a cocked eyebrow, or revulsion is that which I seek. If you merely walk past the art, it has not touched you. You have to expose yourself to the arts which requires the dropping of your personal wall. Are you strong enough to do that?
