Exposure is something that has cause quite an uproar in the magic community today. Everyone believes that the moment an effect is exposed, the moment the gaff is tipped, the entire effect should be placed aside and forgotten.
But there is another opinion. Try to view exposure as something of a wildfire; a necessary evil. One doesn't purposefully set wildfires, nor does one purposefully expose magic.
A wildfire burns down trees so that new ones may grow, and like a wildfire, it will force us to grow anew as well.
So the next time you see someone exposing something, try to see it as a chance for growth and a source of experience for you.
