I have been working with the Mosaic Art for about 10 years now. It all started when I had the idea to cover an old octagon kitchen table of ours , (which ironically was given to us, which extends my recycled items theme), with square tile. After that it just took off. It took me a while to get in to the stained glass, this is what I prefer.
I live and work in a "Green" area and am proud to be able to re-use or recycle items that I can and turn them in to something perhaps that they were never meant to be, hopefully better.
I mostly use recycled items in my works as the base for the glass. Cabinets, shelving, scrap wood, discarded tables and table tops, old bowling balls and have even used old (washed of course) tennis balls. All heading towards the landfill and pulled out for re-use. I can't wait to see what I can find next!
Mosaic, Stained Glass, Tile and re-using recyled items.
Anything that I can find ~or my friends, stained glass, glass, re-used glass, tiles --Ready to dump bases -and my mind of course.

Glass work Mosaics on recycled items. Panels, yard art, garden art and furniture.
Way too many to list. There are Abstract Artists, Mosaic Artists, Glass Artists, Local Artists, Artists abroad that I am familiar with having many talents, and Junk Artists that I have been inspired by.
